El grueso de las personas que conozco recibieron el 2010 con un respiro de alivio, como si el violento, opresivo y tacaño 2009 hubiera sido un verdugo que, en el instante previo a soltar el hachazo definitivo sufriera un infarto fulminante o un disparo en la nuca. A la chingada el año que terminó.
Así, con lujo de dramatismo, sin lágrimas o motivos luctuosos, cayó el 2009, como un árbol talado, como una roca que se desprende del acantilado.
Para variar —y creo que el año pasado hice un comentario parecido— una de las pocas cosas gráciles, hermosas, edificantes que nos dejó 2009 fue un variopinto mosaico de música pop (que es, claro, la música más bonita del mundo, la más accesible, la menos pretenciosa y más entregada al paganismo de la mayoría de nostroso los mortales).
